Save My Musik is the first entirely cloud based, personal music management website. Their aim is to provide a hassle free music storage and streaming experience. Now you can login and listen to your music anytime, anywhere you have an internet connection. You can easily organise and manage your own music files and playlists, saving hours of management headaches while protecting them from potential data loss.
As SaveMyMusik has a strong market in audio storage online, Relativity Communications and SaveMyMusik identified an opportunity to use the MySpace social networking site. The objective is to connect the company and its online product with potential users of the service. In particular MySpace has been well known in the audio industry as being the place where bands, studios, sound professionals and record companies present themselves and connect online. This represents the perfect environment for SaveMyMusik to connect to users who have a high likelyhood of being able to benefit from the service.
SaveMyMusik contracted Relativity Communications to design MySpace graphics and code the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) for the MySpace site. As well as the graphics and code, Relativity Communications populated the content with links back to the SaveMyMusik sign up page, to give a simple path from connection to sign up.
MySpace has recently upgraded to the 2.0 profile version, changing all of the CSS style tags, layout and profile system, and Relativity Communications had to work with the upgraded design and code that has increased the width and placed some constraints on parts of the design whilst opening up others.
